Flipping heck !! It's a rear end shunt !! Why were two Ambulances called out ? Police called out ? And a Fire engine sent out ?? Absolutely Crazy !! .. A minor accident that even closed the road !! .. Absolutely ridiculous for a minor incident..
All that for a minor crash with no injuries, but if someone breaks into your house and beats you up while they’re at it they haven't got any spare police to send and just give you a crime number
Least he missed the post but was not driving to the letter of the law.Must try and stamp this out to be frank
Was the postie using the tradesmans entrance?
Air ambulance was also put on standby as a precautionary measure.
Who is it that's dialling 999 for ambulances, police and fire engines to attend a minor collision such as this?
Aren't these supposed to be EMERGENCY services?
This is just a relatively minor rear end shunt, and it happens hundreds, possibly thousands, of times a week all over the country.
There seems to be some sort of weird obsession with car accidents here, not just in the local press but with the emergency services too.
I suppose we should just be grateful that Island Roads didn't turn up and put temporary lights around the accident.
perhaps the handbrake failed on the Golf & it rolled into the front of the post van ??
