Milaca marches relay, Mikla to state berth

Once the dust settled after a pair of trips to Monticello for the Section 5AA Track and Field Championships on May 31 and June 2, Milaca kept its streak alive by sending athletes to the state for the 26th consecutive meet.

Milaca's Reina Mikla soared her way to a second place finish in the pole vault during the Section 5AA Track and Field Championships in the two-day meet in Monticello. With the runner-up spot, Mikla next compete at the state meet.

The Wolves will be sending representatives for the girls 4x100-meter relay in Reina Mikla, Esther Evans, Sam Meyer, and Taylar Bockoven after placing second in the meet. Mikla added a solo bid in the pole vault, also placing second in the meet.
