COLUMBUS, Ind. – Bash to Beat Cancer and Relay For Life, presented by Buns and Beards Beauty Lounge, is set for Saturday, October 26, from 2 to 7 p.m., at the NexusPark Fieldhouse. It is open to the public and raises money for out-of-pocket expenses that some cancer center patients may experience while being treated at the Columbus Regional Health (CRH) Cancer Center.
At the combined celebration event, attendees expect food trucks, vendors, a silent auction, hair tinsel, hair feathers, a bounce house, and more.
All vendors will donate a percentage of their sales to the CRH Foundation Cancer Center fund, silent auction proceeds, and Bash to Beat Cancer t-shirt sales.
Columbus Regional Health will also be honoring Cancer Survivors at this event.
Relay For Life is a walk around the track that brings people together to celebrate the lives of those who have battled and are battling cancer. The walk will remember loved ones who have been lost and empower individuals and communities to fight back against this disease.
Everyone who comes is asked to line the track during the “survivor lap” and cheer all survivors.
All funds raised from Relay For Life will go directly to the American Cancer Society. To get involved with Relay For Life or to donate, click here.
